MMA Roll-Out Mat Specifications

Roll-out panels give striking, grappling and takedown classes one continuous surface. Our PVC leather + XPE roll-out model: MMA training mat.

Thickness picks. Choose 2–3 cm for striking-led gyms: a thinner surface keeps footing firm for pivots and footwork. Choose 4–6 cm where takedowns and throws dominate, because extra foam spreads the force of a landing. Mixed classes usually land in between. The MMA mat thickness guide goes deeper.

Trade-offs to plan for:

Seams between rolls
Adjoining rolls leave a seam. Butt them tight and tape it, or accept a visible line.
Curl at ends and edges
Roll ends and edges can curl on an uneven subfloor. Lay on flat ground and keep edges under wall pads.
Cleaning and replacement
Cleaning is routine, and replacement timing depends on class load. We publish no fixed interval. Cleaning martial arts mats safely protects the surface.
