Custom on request: size, thickness, density, surface texture, color (Pantone matching) and logo. The Impact-Absorbing Karate Mats for Safer Dojos specification sheet lists the full range.
Density is stated for every mat, so firmness is a number you choose rather than something you find out after the floor is laid.
Density measures foam mass per unit volume (kg/m³), not hardness. For 2, 2.5 and 3 cm mats, available densities are 80, 100 or 120 kg/m³; 4 and 5 cm mats are available at 80 kg/m³ only. Evaluate sample firmness and compression separately from density. Compression, rebound and anti-slip ratings are not published here—if your tender needs documented test data or a specific finish, ask in the inquiry.
Thinner mats give a firmer floor for kata and striking-only classes; thicker mats add cushioning for mixed-use dojos, kids' classes and sessions with falls. Thickness and density work together: thick + low density is softest; thin + high density is firmest.
100 × 100 cm: the usual choice for a full dojo floor, with fewer tiles to lay. 50 × 50 cm: better for small rooms, irregular layouts and flexible zones; small tiles also pack efficiently for shipping.
These are starting points within our standard range. We confirm the final spec against your room and class schedule.
